Assassin’s Creed. . . Ehhhh?!

So I recently, and by recently I mean literally just finished watching the Assassin’s Creed movie. I didn’t get to see it when it originally came due to the fact I could barely move cause of my hip. But I finally managed to see it. And overall I would have to say it could’ve been a lot better.

So as most of you know they decided to go with a completely different character from the game. In my opinion that was your first mistake. They should’ve stuck with Desmond and his decedent Al’tair. But if they didn’t want to start off with such a slow character, and we all know Assassin’s Creed didn’t really get good until game 2 when we were introduced to Desmond’s next ancestor Ezio Auditore da Firenze.

This I believe would have done much better in the theaters and definitely could’ve spawned sequel after sequel. Michael Fassbender did a great job as an assassin, and the storyline is the same as the game. To find the apple of eden and keep it out of the hands of the Templar.

But overall the movie seemed rushed, and just didn’t have the same feel that sucks you into the historically fictional world as the games do. So when watching it I was more ho hum. The chase scenes as assassin’s were perfectly executed. But overall it wasn’t great. Still wish they stuck with the original storyline. So if you are a fane of the game, i still say watch it. So you to can see whats wrong with it. But it does make you want to go and play some Assassin’s Creed.
